We are so excited to celebrate Book Week on the first week of October. The Book Fair will be open Monday 1st- Friday 5th October. The fair will be held on both sites, it will be open on the Junior Site 2.15-3.45pm daily and on the Senior site 3.00pm-3.45pm. Money raised at the fair will be used to buy books for our school, so we would ask that you will support us in this. Town Library Visits have been organised for children in P1-P7, each teacher will inform their class of their given day and time. We are looking forward to our poetry show which will be hosted by Jim Mc Cool on Tuesday 2nd on the Senior Site and Wednesday 3rd on the Junior Site. We will also have story tellers from the Library Services coming around our classrooms to entertain the children with exciting stories. On Book Character Day (this Friday 5th October) your child should come to school dressed up as their book /fairy-tale character or nursery rhyme character. We have so many prizes to award on this day from speech prizes, art prizes and fancy dress prizes. Every child will go home with a little token for their efforts on this day.
