Mobile Phones

11th Jun 2019

As you are aware. We have a mobile phone policy. If parents insist on their children having access to mobile phones before and after school, then pupils who have had parental permission MUST hand in the mobile phone to the Senior School Office first thing in the morning where it will be stored (locked away safely)until the end of the day when it can be collected again. It has come to our attention, that some children do not hand in their phones or sometimes use them on school property before handing them in. For Child Protection and Safeguarding reasons we respectfully request that all phones be handed in immediately on arrival to school. If a child is found to have a mobile phone which has not been handed in, it will be confiscated and their parent contacted (as is our policy). We appreciate your understanding and support in this very important safeguarding matter. We also respectfully remind all adults that mobile phones should not be used on school property in the presence of children for Child Protection and Safeguarding reasons. We thank you sincerely for your understanding and support!
